I need opinions

For all the grandkids 5th birthdays they get their pictures in the paper. Kynlie's is coming up quickly and I need to pick out a picture. I took some quick this morning before it started to sleet on us.

Can you help me pick one or tell me I need to take some more!

Update

I took Kynlie to the eye doctor today, she had to have her yearly checkup. They said that her eyes haven't gotten any better but they haven't gotten any worse. So the doctor is still really optimistic that she will grow out of this. She picked out some new glasses that she loves, she's so freaking cute!

Cayden is doing great, he did get another concussion a couple of weeks ago, he's fine though. He has lost a total of 4 teeth, one was knocked out at school while playing football. He wants to use the money that he gets from the tooth fairy to go to Big Red Keno. I blame Grandma and Grandpa for that one....

Keilyn is growing and growing. I was told that your third is supposed to be the mellow child, whoever told me that LIED!! She has some more teeth popping through and she's pretty miserable.

Busy Day Yesterday

We had Kynlie's soccer at 9:00 then we had to run home change clothes and wrap a present for a birthday party Cayden had at noon. Then we had to drive back over to the other side of town to drop the girls off with Jim and Charlene, they were at school for the Roper Jump Rope for Heart. Then Cayden and I headed to the Childrens Museum for the Party.

When Cayden and I left the party we were on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's house to get the girls when Will called and asked if we could get his camera for him. He was at a wedding and forgot it. So I drove out to his house then all the way back to 40th and C street. (its a long way) Then I turned back around and drove back to Grandma and Grandpa's house.

We stayed there because it was State Wrestling Finals on NET and Cayden's wrestling coach has a son in the finals. So we didn't get home till I think almost 4!!!

If my kids get their mess cleaned up today I am going to take them to Husker wrestling at the coliseum.

Have a great day you guys!

Friday

We had a great day today! The weather was just beautiful and we even hit a record here in Lincoln! 64*!! Awesome!

We picked Cayden up from school and headed down to the lake to let the kids and the dogs run. Holy Crap they all went nuts! The dogs were just crazy up and down they went I didn't know Koda was that fast!

I took a crap load of pictures but I forgot to bring the camera with me downstairs so you'll just have to wait! (I'm such a shit!!)

We have a busy day tomorrow; soccer then two birthday parties and we really would like to go to the Devaney Center and watch the UNL swim team. We'll have to see how that falls though.

Have a great night tonight and hope you have a beautiful morning tomorrow!

Happy Wednesday!

Been super busy around here. Just thought I'd hop on to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you just been busy...see this is why I need a laptop. So I'm not having to come down here to the basement! Hint Hint

Kids are doing great! Cayden is loving wrestling, he has a boy who is about the same size as him just a bit bigger that he wrestles and Cayden just schools him so that makes me proud or sadistic whatever!

Girls are great! I took pictures at soccer on Saturday just haven't been on the computer to upload them. Seriously I need to take a class to figure out my camera, damn thing is so much smarter then me!

It's cold here right now but supposed to warm up this weekend. Can't wait...need to clean up dog poop again! Suck!

Hope you're all doing great!

Happy Birthday Lori!

Hey All!

We are alive I just haven't been able to get on the computer! Thank goodness I have my phone otherwise I would have been totally out of touch.

Kids at this moment are all healthy! Cayden did come down with the stomach flu this last weekend but he's better. That was terrible; I hate when kids are so sick like that.

Cayden is really enjoying wrestling, at first he was so distracted by where he is practicing but now I think he's on track. He came home last night and informed me that he didn't gawk and was way more aggressive. I'm so proud of my dork!

Kynlie has only been to one of the of the first three practices of winter session soccer. Hopefully we'll get back into full swing of things now, she is very ansty to get back at it. It's supposed to be in the 60's here on Saturday so I'm looking forward to opening up the house.

Keilyn has a mouthful of teeth! She cut all these teeth just here in the last week. Poor baby! But otherwise she is doing great, she's into everything and not liking the word no!

Beatiful Weather Today

It's supposed to get into the mid to upper 50's today! That is so awesome, I love cold and snow but once in a while I'll take a nice day so I can open up the house.

We headed back into the clinic yesterday morning with Cayden and Kynlie. Kynlie needed to be checked out because of the severity of her infection and Cayden was complaining of ear pain. Kynlie needed her meds upped, the first medicine wasn't working and she has to go on drops.

Cayden has an infection in both ears so he had to go on the same medicine as Kynlie. I guess you kind of forget how bad it is when you have kids that have chronic infections. Cayden and Kynlie both when they were little would just get infection after infection until they got tubes. We got lucky with Keilyn, she didn't get infections as an infant. Hers didn't start till she was 1.

We'll see what the doctors say about the kids if this keeps going on.

On a bright note Cayden started wrestling this week, he is practicing at the Devaney Center. He thinks its so awesome to practice where the Huskers practice!

I lied

They are not getting better!

Last night Cayden and Kynlie stayed the night with Grandma and Grandpa, this morning when we talked to Charlene she said that Kynlie was up every hour crying. We figured out it was her ears, about an hour later Charlene called and said there was a lot of stuff coming out of her ears, 10 minutes later out comes blood.

Ok so rewind to last night, Matt started throwing up. I hate the flu....I don't know if anyone of you knew that but I seriously hate the flu! He threw up all night long. Oh and did you know that men whine the whole time???????

So this morning when Charlene called and said there was blood in her ear I grabbed KeilynKynlie and headed to the hospital. We ended up going to the hospital that is also the trauma center so we got to see helicopters! Kynlie has an infection in both ears and the one that was bleeding was because where her tube was, there is still a hole so the infection is able to seep out the hole.

NOT A BURST EARDRUM!! Thank Goodness!

Kynlie is now back on antibiotics and Keilyn is finishing up hers. I have to take Kynlie in on Tuesday to get checked out and I think I'm going to have them check Keilyn while I'm there.
went to Jim and Charlene's house dropped her off picked up

It snowed!

It snowed last night and I didn't even know we were in for it! I love snow, I just love it! Matt is at class, Cayden is in school Keilyn is taking a nap and I have no idea what Kynlie is doing...I do hear lots of rumbling upstairs though!

We ended up needing to get new tires on the truck so that's where that is. Fun Fun Fun!!! Lets see what the mechanics say about the pile of crap! I think the tires are going to cost more then its worth. Kinda funny if you think about it!

We have soccer tomorrow morning and then Cayden and Kynlie are going to the wrestling tournament at Lincoln High. Grandpa Jim is running one of the clocks and the kids love to go.

Have a great day and enjoy the snow!

Hey all!

Just a note quick to let you know that it's so cold here even I don't want to go out in it! And get this...my poor husband got a flat tire on the pickup and he's out there right now changing it! Poor man!

Kids are doing great, both in school again today, I have to run some errands before I have to get them...good thing everywhere I have to go has a drive thru! I hate taking Keilyn out in this cold.

Oh and big thank you to Charlene for coming to get Cayden and taking him to school for me this morning! You are the bestest ever!

Cayden, Kynlie, and Keilyn

I took all three of them into the doctor yesterday morning because they were all up all night long Sunday night. Kynlie coughed so hard she couldn't breathe, Keilyn would scream in pain and Cayden was having nightmare after nightmare.

Cayden has a virus and his throat looked like strep so they ran a culture. Thankfully it came out negative so she said his just needs to run it's course. Kynlie was put on a cough syrup-decongestant so hopefully she will be able to sleep better. They both have really swollen lymph nodes and extremely sore throats. Keilyn has all that too plus another ear infection! So that is three infections for Keilyn since the end of December, hopefully they will rush us with the tubes if that is what she needs.

Last night was a much better night; Cayden wasn't up at all, Kynlie was only up once and Keilyn was only up THREE times! That is so awesome!

Thank you everybody that has kept us in your thoughts and prayers. Hopefully we are on the mend and will have an awesome rest of the winter!

Kynlie

Thursday night Kynlie started throwing up, poor thing was so upset that she threw up in her bed she started to cry, I told her I didn't care that she did I think its better than on the floor! She ended up just getting everything out of her tummy then didn't throw up again but she really didn't feel good till yesterday afternoon. She layed on her little bed all day in our room watching cartoons and napping. Hopefully it was just her picky tummy and no one else will get sick but who knows!

Keilyn still feels crappy and she keeps rubbing her ears, I'm thinking her infection is back, good thing we are going to the doctor for a checkup on Tuesday.

Keilyn

Took Keilyn back to the doctor yesterday morning, she just came down with a horrible cold. She has this cough that sounds so wet and chesty, I just figured oh great the ears are in for it. But nope the ears were good but the doctor said that when she walked into the room and looked at Keilyn she would have put money down that Keilyn has influenza. So we are monitoring her temp and keeping her full of fluids. She is not sleeping so that isn't helping her or me, I've started going to sleep as soon as we get them all down at 7:45. It's helped me out immensly.

I better get going...I have Kynlie upstairs dusting and I'm sitting on here! Child labor!

It's Hard to Say Goodbye

We had to say bye to Josh at the airport today, it was really hard on all of us but I think it was hardest on Cayden. He really took it hard but hopefully Josh will be back in a month or so and we can see him anytime we want. Here are some pictures of him and the kids.

Keilyn made it about two seconds with him so this was a fast one!

Photobucket

I did really good and didn't cry so I'm pretty proud of myself. Plus I know he'll be back soon so that helps!

Keilyn doesn't really like Will so when she actually let him hold her for about 20 seconds I got a picture.
