Last Fall Soccer Game

Cayden has his last game yesterday. It was super cold at 9:00 AM so we bundled everybody up. Keilyn was so cold...poor thing.

Here's Cayden, he's all bundled up! By the end of the game he'd shed the hat and gloves. He twisted his ankle during the game but kept playing, pretty proud of him for that.


Grandpa Jim gave him tickets to go the the Huskers after the soccer game so we had to hussle home so he could get changed for the game. No I didn't take any pictures and no Matt didn't take the camera to the game. He did tell me that Cayden ate a hot dog, a box of popcorn and an ice cream cone, and had a bottle of lemonade. No wonder he didn't eat supper last night! They had so much fun, Larry the Cable Guy was right in front of them but Cayden was a chicken and wouldn't go holler at him!

Koda, she was born May 25th

Funny story about Kynlie and Koda, this morning Koda must have done something wrong because Kynlie grabbed her by the collar, grabbed her bow and arrow walked out to the porch and said "Koda, say your prayers." I laughed so hard, I had to call Matt at work and tell him about that one!

Kids and Cookies

My friend Lisa gave me a recipe for pumpkin chocolate chip cookies so the kids and I had to try it out. But first they had to argue about how to stir it..


Just thought this one was funny...I have no idea what Cayden and Kynlie were plotting.

Ugh The Flu Came Back

Yesterday I pulled up to get Kynlie and Miss Whitney was just heading into the building. She pointed at me then at the school then she did a little puking demo....I thought oh $***...no not Kynlie. Yep sure enough I run inside and Miss Lisa is waiting for me at the door. Not 5 minutes before I got there Kynlie called up the dinosaurs. She looked so miserable, I just wanted to cry for her. When she saw me those big beautiful eyes filled up with tears. That's about my undoing, bless her heart.
Luckily they gave me a sack because she did it again on the way home. Holy Crap did that stink, I didn't care if it was pouring rain...the windows were down! We got home without incident or getting a speeding ticket, popped her clothes in the wash and her in the shower, bundled her up in jammies and plopped her in bed.

She is doing much better today, she still has a bit of a tummy ache but she's a trooper. She actually wanted to go to school today but I think a day of rest is what she really needs.

Went to the Park

There is a beautiful park here in town that has an awesome waterfall the kids love to go to. I think the best thing about it is its not ever overrun with kids. I took some pictures of the kids while we were there.
Keilyn loved it there, she had so much to look at and put in her mouth!

Sick kids

Cayden has the stomach flu and Kynlie has a nasty cold. They are both staying home from school today to recoop. Keilyn fortunatly isn't to bad. I think nursing and having a flu shot has helped her. I'm just hoping that Kynlie's flu shot will keep her from getting what Cayden has. He unfortunaly was at school the day the girls got their shots. He's scheduled to get his on the 18th. What kind of timing is that. Suck!

You Have Got to See This!

Sunday evening after we got home from Kynlie's soccer game I was sitting the couch with her. She put her big ol' stinky foot up on me and I saw what looked like at mosquito bite, except it had a black spot in the center of it. I sent her over to Matt and he asked me for a needle. He stuck it in and out popped

It's exactly a 1/4 of an inch long. We couldn't believe she had that in there, she didn't even complain about it! She played soccer on it, ran around all day, and not one word of complaint. This is what it looked like after we got it cleaned up and all the infection out.

Keilyn

She is growing up so fast, I just can't believe it. Where does the time go? She's trying so hard to walk, not to long and she'll be running.
Don't look at me...I may crySeriously mom don't take a picture of me when I'm filling my pants!

Kynlie Soccer

This is Kynlie's first year in soccer and she loves it!! Holy cow I can't believe how much she likes it! She's pretty aggressive and loves to get after the ball. She also loves to score goals, she makes wagers with Matt to see how many she can make...(is that as bad as Cayden's Keno addiction?)

Cayden Soccer

It's so much fun to watch the kids play soccer. When they are little its funny to watch them all gather around the ball, trying to kick it. This year Cayden moved up a league so he got to get an official uniform. He looks so frickin cute!
