Cayden's 4th Birthday!

We had a ball at Cayden's birthday party last night! Thanks to all who could come,it's so much fun to see everyone! Cayden all day long kept asking when everyone was coming and I'd ask "why do you want everyone to come over?" He'd say "because they can eat cake!" We had my friend Cheri from Lincoln Benefit make the cake again, she is an absolute genious when it comes to cake decorating! Cheri and Clayton (her husband) were treated to a couple of Cayden's famous stories when they brought the cake over.

Shopping with Cayden and Kynlie

Ya know there are days when I wonder why I am the way I am...anal, grouchy, etc...well this morning was a prime example.

Last night I decided I would take the kids early this morning and run to Wal-mart to get the couple of things I'd need to get through the week. I didn't want to wait till 10 or 11 because I knew it would fill up fast. So at 8:00 we left the house. We get there and Cayden asked if they could ride in the cart that has the two blue seats in the front of the cart. I said "ok"...that was my first mistake...I don't know why I never remember that I hate those carts. My kids can unlock those straps and be jumping up and down before we are in the main doors. I am a dumb***! Anyways so we get inside and we head to get shampoo for Matt....."why does daddy like that shampoo, it's purple! Isn't that for girls?" Then this poor unsuspecting woman says "hi" to them...what a moron! Cayden tells this woman that his Uncle Will is homeless and has to come live with us, and that his daddy didn't live with us just his uncle Will. I don't know where he gets this stuff. I wanted to leave the cart and run away. Kynlie just kept saying "hi" over and over. After I pulled away from her Cayden and Kynlie started yelling "hey" back and forth gettting louder and louder each time. Until this older gentleman looked at them then at me and back at them and said "you know little ones (I liked how he said little ones) Santa can hear you." I wanted to hug him because they stopped....for 10 minutes! So then we go by the shoes and Cayden does need some snow boots so I find some that I thought were really quite nice and proceed to take Cayden's shoe off to see if they fit. Well Kynlie didn't like that she didn't get to take her shoe off so for the next 15 minutes I put her shoe back on 7 count them 7 times! The last time I did it I said not to quietly that if she did it again I was going to leave her shoe in the store and she would have to walk around with only one shoe on. She very loudly said "NO". I then hear the woman who, bless her heart had been following me around the store, by chance I think picking up all the stuff we had dropped, I hear her just laugh out loud! I turned around and she says "I needed that this morning!" Well good for you I thought! Anyways in the baking aisle after putting Kynlie back into the stupid seat for the I don't know 100th time, I said "I swear to God if I have to put you back in this seat again I am going to leave you here". Cayden then says, "mom if you left us here could other people buy us?" I didn't answer. Then finally I get to the checkout, I get all the stuff up on the dealy and I turn and look back at the kids and I don't see Kynlie. I run back and nope she's not there. I freaked out! I started running around yelling her name over and over! Cayden is following me yelling too. I get two lanes over and this same lady that had followed me around the store says "this must be Kynlie" there she was trying to get a pop out of the little fridge. I picked her up and grabbed Cayden's arm, and took them back to the cart. I had to take deep breaths because I don't think I have ever in my life been that scared! All I could think of was I have three choices, beat my kids, cry in the store, or suck it up and pay for your stuff and never ever get one of these stupid carts again. Well I didn't beat them or cry so I'm pretty proud of myself!

All I have to say is I'm tired!

Halloween!!

Here are some pictures of us at Boo at the Zoo at the zoo here in Lincoln. We had such a good time! Got way to much candy!!!!








We went to the zoo on friday so then on Halloween we went over to Jim and Charlene's to trick or treat with them. Will and Michelle and Neely came over and the whole gang including Kelly and Kiya went around the neighborhood getting more candy. It was a load of fun...unfortunately I forgot the camera so I don't have any pictures from then...sorry!

What's up!

HI everybody! Just wanted to say hi and show some pictures of the kids goofing around! Cayden and Kynlie like to ride on the sit and spin together! They think it's a hoot!

Kids and Dogs!

Not much has been going on with us. Seems like all we do is wait for Saturdays for Husker games. Matt got to go to the Texas Tech game, the kids and I went over to my brothers house. I swear Matt is bad luck at Husker games. I don't think he should go again. :)
We are really enjoying having Will, Michelle, and Neely here in Lincoln, they are giving us more of a life I think. At least now we go out once or twice a week to their house or they come to our house.
Cayden is constantly a source of joy for us. He tells these amazing stories all the time some are about sharks others about bears. He is a huge Husker fan and he always looks forward to the games. He is really looking forward to his birthday and Christmas, whenever we go to a store he and he sees something he wants he says "mommy do you think if I tell you that I want that could you tell Santa to bring that for me at Christmas?" I guess I'm Santa's helper in the Cayden scheme of things!
Kynlie is growing like a weed. If big brother can do it then so can Kynlie! She loves to climb and tumble and she even enjoys wrestling! She's not much of a talker yet but she lets us know what she wants. Most of the time she points at something and yells "MEEEE!!" at the top of her lungs! She is definitely over her fear of people. She loves her uncle Will and loves to be in the dog pile with him.
Chaos is growing like the dickens too! She is going to be a horse I think. She is so hyper sometimes that she's a pain in the rear but we love her! When she's excited she wags her tail so hard her entire body wiggles back and forth. When she's like that you have to watch the kids or they'll go flying! She's such a moron! Chaos and Sandy, Will and Michelle dog have become quite good friends. In the mornings when they are bringing Neely over they bring Sandy too. Chaos waits out on the porch for them to get here. Every car that goes by Chaos jumps up in the window to look and see if Sandy is here yet. I don't think Chaos likes the weekends because Sandy isn't over all day long.

1st Husker Game

Ok I know I'm a little slow on this but I've been a little busy! The kids all got new Husker stuff for the season so we took a bunch of pictures!
It's very hard to get a good one with the three of them so don't be disappointed!

Holy Cow!

Man has it been awhile since I've updated this! Well I've got some pictures from our trip home and some others from around here.
I guess we'll start with the three of us Me, Cayden and Kynlie on my little horse Bubba.

This one is a little dark but he's just so darn cute I couldn't resist.

Cayden also wants a trampoline...he loves to jump on it with the boys!

Mr. No Fear also ran into the bad end of an old cranky dog...well ok he laid on her and she didn't like it....He got these bruises and a big hole on the inside of his mouth.

I put pigtails in Kynlie's hair the other day...isn't she the cutest little girl you've ever seen!!

Ransom

Matt and I were being turds the other day and made up a ransom for Jim's weed wacker! Here's a picture.

We've been playing outside a lot lately so I decided to get out my rope and mess around a bit. I think I need to get Cayden one of his own cuz he had way to much fun.

We've been to the zoo quite a few times this year all ready! Kynlie likes the ponies now, she was a little afraid of them at first.

Kids Playing

The other night after bathtime the kids were playing on the floor and Kynlie started wrestiling with Cayden. It was so funny. I think she remembered when Cayden and Matt did it earlier that day. Here are some pictures.


Now this is my favorite, Kynlie's hiney couldn't be any farther up in the air!

Busy time!

Why is that when spring time rolls around we always seem to be busier and busier. I think Matt and I try to cram so much into a day that we don't have time to do the simple little things like updating our website.
The kids are doing great. They've been dealing with colds, but I think they are on the mend. They both love being outside, our yard is so big they can just run and run. They get a kick out of each other, I think they are going to be really good friends. I like when they are outside all the running burns off a lot of pent up energy. We ran the sprinkler for a bit yesterday and Cayden and Chaos both ran in it, they were so funny!
We took the kids and the dog to Wilderness Park the other day and let them play in the creek and get good and dirty. Chaos loves to play in the water, she would run up the bank and then back down and jump right in. Cayden was very busy getting sticks to throw in for her to catch in the water. Kynlie was more interested in all the rocks and how many she could put in her mouth at once. By the time we left we all stunk! Everyone got a bath when we got home.
We've had quite a few projects going on around here lately, lots going on out in the yard and a few in the house. Our biggest project is the yard, Matt wants to reseed it. We are going to have a big muddy mess on our hands soon. Hopefully in a month or so it will be looking really good. Well that's a quick update on us. I'll post pictures from Kynlie's 1st birhtday party tomorrow!

It's a swinging good time! The kids love to swing together they get such a kick out of each other!
